ببالغ الحزن والأسى تلقيت نبأ وفاة صاحب السمو الشيخ حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني، الأمير السابق لدولة قطر.
كان الأمير الوالد، المغفور له الشيخ حمد، قائدا عظيما ورجل دولة بارزا، أسهمت حكمته وبعد نظره وإخلاصه في خدمة شعبه في تحويل دولة قطر إلى دولة حديثة مزدهرة تحظى بالاحترام على المستوى العالمي. وستظل إسهاماته الراسخة في رفاه وطنه وشعبه، وفي تعزيز السلام الإقليمي والتنمية والتعاون الدولي، خالدة في الذاكرة عبر الأجيال.
وبالنيابة عن شعب وحكومة باكستان، وبالأصالة عن نفسي، أتقدم بأحر التعازي وصادق المواساة إلى أخي العزيز صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير دولة قطر، وإلى أفراد أسرة آل ثاني الكرام، وإلى حكومة دولة قطر، وإلى الشعب القطري الشقيق في هذا المصاب الجلل. ونؤكد وقوفنا إلى جانبهم وتضامننا معهم في هذه اللحظات الأليمة.
وسنظل نعتز دائما بما كان يتحلى به الأمير الوالد من دفء المشاعر وكرم الخلق والمودة الصادقة تجاه باكستان، كما سنحتفظ بذكريات زياراته العديدة لبلدنا بكل تقدير واعتزاز.
نسأل الله سبحانه وتعالى أن يتغمد الأمير الوالد الراحل بواسع رحمته، وأن يسكنه أعلى مراتب جنة الفردوس، وأن ينزل السكينة والطمأنينة على الأسرة الأميرية الكريمة، وعلى أشقائنا في قطر، وأن يلهمهم الصبر والسلوان والثبات على تحمل هذا الفقد الذي لا يعوض. آمين.

Deeply saddened by the passing away of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Former Amir of the State of Qatar. The Father Amir, late Sheikh Hamad was a great leader and statesman whose wisdom, foresight and dedication to public service, transformed Qatar into a modern, prosperous and globally respected nation. His enduring contributions to the welfare of his nation and its people, as well as to regional peace, development and international cooperation, will be remembered for generations to come. On behalf of the people and the Government of Pakistan, as well as on my own behalf, I extend our heartfelt condolences to my Dear Brother the Amir of Qatar His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the distinguished members of the Al Thani family, the Government, as well as the brotherly people of Qatar on this solemn occasion. We stand in solidarity with them in this moment of profound grief. We will always cherish the Father Amir’s warmth, kindness and deep affection for Pakistan, as well as the fond memories of his many visits to our country. May Allah Almighty grant the departed Father Amir, the highest place in Jannat ul Firdaus, and May He shower His blessings upon the Royal Family and our Qatari brothers and sisters to bear this irreparable loss with strength, patience and fortitude.
