Many of the comments seem to be reacting to the post's text (which is short) not the video where I explain what's actually happening. It's worth watching the actual video, this is not a straightforward change.

Hurricane #Milton underwent EXTREME rapid intensification, with max sustained wind speed increasing 90 mph in just 25hrs. Warming oceans, due to human-caused climate change, are fueling stronger tropical cyclones.

Hurricane Milton intensifies further with sustained winds now up to 180 mph and central pressure down to 905 mb. You are looking at one of the strongest hurricanes ever observed in the Atlantic basin.

As physicist John Holdren, former US Science Advisor, once said about climate change, “We basically have three choices: mitigation, adaptation and suffering. We’re going to do some of each. The question is what the mix is going to be. The more mitigation we do, the less adaptation will be required and the less suffering there will be.”

This is an incredible rainfall chart. Some areas of central southern England saw more than 350% of the September average rainfall. Bedfordshire & Oxfordshire recorded their wettest month ever recorded, dating back at least 188 years.
