@MikeConti929 Stop with the doom and gloom style post. We win 1 game and we are in the 6th seed at worst

The Hawks have fallen to 6th in the East, after Toronto won their game-in-hand tonight. The Hawks no longer control their own destiny for the 5 seed.

Dave Roberts said "there's got to be some grace" for Shohei Ohtani as a two-way player when asked about him getting extended time in between innings to warm up. "The truth is, he's different." (H/T: @HyeseongKimMuse)

I’m old school and like to go into stores feel the items before I buy them. How the hell does someone buy a sofa these days. My wife wants to buy a new sofa and I can’t give her a green light if I don’t sit on that thing. Please help…

"if the goal of hypertrophy is to train to reps near failure". I've never heard anyone say the 'goal' of hypertrophy (pump) is to train reps near failure. If you can get a sick pump off 4 reps, great. Most people can't People are different, muscles are different so whatever works for you. If I did 4 reps of everything I wouldn't get a pump on anything except maybe my biceps. Just talk to power lifters who regularly train in rep ranges of like 1-4 reps. Pump isn't their goal, they don't care about pump, the only thing that matters is weight. While they are big they don't look like bodybuilders even with the same or more gear usage and food intake. It may work for you. But the real life data that we can see with our own eyes is apparent. Look at body builders. Look at power lifters. Both juiced to the gills. Both taking in massive amounts of food. One group trains medium to high reps chasing the pump. One group trains low reps chasing weight. We even have Larry Wheels. A powerlifter turn bodybuilder. He isn't as strong as it used to be and changed his training to medium-high reps... And what do you know he has more muscle now. It's not rocket surgery guys.

If the goal in Hypertrophy is to train to reps near failure Wouldn’t it make most sense to start closer to failure by simply using heavier weights for less reps per set? More mechanical tension Less wasted reps

Dianna Russini’s husband has finally broken his silence on the recent rumors, saying: “A lot of people still struggle to accept a strong, independent woman thriving in what’s traditionally been a male-dominated industry. Instead of celebrating her success, they try to tear her down with misinformation and noise. But I see the work she puts in every single day, and I couldn’t be more proud of her. She’s earned everything she has. That’s exactly why we supported leaders like Kamala Harris — because empowering strong women isn’t controversial, it’s necessary.”

NBA Report: Officals erred in not calling a foul on Jarrett Allen on Jonathan Kuminga's missed layup with :24.4 to play in last night's Hawks-Cavaliers game. The Hawks were down by 6 at the time.

#Cavs list Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen, and Sam Merrill all as out tomorrow against the Atlanta Hawks. Thomas Bryant (calf strain) is also out. Jaylon Tyson (left great toe bone bruise) is questionable.

I know people can’t see it, but the Hawks needed those two losses before entering the playoffs. They have to learn from these situations and they have to learn how to possibly not play with Jock Landale.
