"Intention not Reinvention" - Most companies think doing good means reinventing everything. It doesn't. We already know how to build great businesses. The only thing wrong with most of them is their intention. 🧵

I think it's fair to say we all know the importance of plants for us and the planet. I recently learned about this company who have taken that meaning it to a whole new level! Recently, Sprinklr announced it had paid back its investors, but that isn't the interesting part...

Just realized: —We live in a casino world. Everything we do and use on daily basis is a carousel of chances. Netflix, Spotify, X, Insta, TikTok. Just pull the lever for endless dopamine until we're fully sterile. What gives?

@jasonfried @Clogish @ryancarson @pmarca My guess is that what Marc really means is Rumination. Not introspection. He has an entire foundation to do philanthropy. He even has Stanford children emergency ward named after him and his wife. I doubt you get to that place without introspection and subsequent action.

I watched this interview, and what struck me the most was that @pmarca said he has zero interest in introspection in his life. I feel the same but have always felt bad about it. I don't have the patience or interest in any sort of introspection on the past. I don't want to talk to a therapist. I don't want to write in a journal. It was interesting to see that Marc feels the same way. Made me feel less bad about it. Great interview @davidsenra.

In our conversation Marc Andreessen makes the case that the beating heart of our civilization’s progress is the founder: “You’re much more likely to build something important in the 21st century if you start with a founder and train them in management than if you start with a manager and try to train them to be a founder.”

@dhh Looks interesting! Hard to recommend to my fellow academics if it doesn't meet accessibility standards, though. :(

ONCE is back! It's now a full-fledged application server for running dockerized web apps, like Campfire/Writebook/Fizzy or your own vibe-coded adventures. Zero-downtime upgrades, scheduled backups, and a gorgeous TUI with hyperdrive graphics. Enjoy! github.com/basecamp/once

Fractional Cursor acquisition. xAI taking the right steps
Jason Ginsberg@JasonBud

I’m proud to be joining SpaceX and xAI with @milichab It has become clear that software is changing fundamentally. More and more, people can shape the tools they use directly, and the ceiling of what can be built keeps rising. What makes xAI special is the scale of its ambition: to build from first principles all the way out to the stars. I’m especially grateful to work on products that expand human agency and freedom. That mission is deeply personal to me. My family came to the United States fleeing communism, and the belief that freedom should be part of the next generation of the internet has driven me every day since Andrew and I started Skiff. Now, we get to work on intelligence, understanding, and freedom on a universal scale.

Openclaw is not ready to run enterprise. Not with these flaws. What’s interesting to me is how bad the agent responses and actions can be as the sum of parts: I’m running mine on ChatGPT 5.2 and by itself, this is a wonderful completion LLM. But as an agent, together with other agents, it’s almost impossible to live with. I want my claws to emulate a specialist human assistant but they’re close to getting fired.

Exactly these small hidden changes are making it quite unusable and unstable. After all not everyone is a full stack experienced developer to know these small nuances that must be fixed upon each update. The product is going main stream and it should be considered what damage you cause before doing such damage @steipete

psa: @openclaw 2026.3.11 is out. one important behavior change to know: 🔒 cron now enforces a stricter “cron-owned delivery” contract in isolated runs. if your jobs were set to delivery.mode="none" but still sending via message tool, they may now go silent. 🛠️ run: openclaw doctor --fix then move those jobs to explicit delivery (announce/webhook) instead of ad-hoc sends.
