@NikiLouiseT It was a lovely day, thank you ☺️ couldn’t have been a nicer welcome back to school. Felt really good to see everyone, very busy and lots & lots to do but I guess that would always happen! Glad I could use the day to catch up :) hope you’re ok x
Well, that’s shielding done with (again). I think I worked out today I’ve been shielding for 9 of the last 12 months, which seems kind of crazy. The idea of reality is exciting, but also kind of nerve-wracking when you’ve been a hermit for so long! Looking fwd to seeing my class.
Today is #WorldBipolarDay & the birthday of Vincent Van Gogh (who was posthumously diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder). Today, I’d love you to take some time to look into what having Bipolar means as there’s such little understanding of it. Raise awareness, keep talking & show love.
So my afternoon has all been about dressing up - as you do .... more costume changes than a #Madonna concert .... here is Delphi - and I am her prince 👑
A year ago today I did my last conference - I had to cancel the rest. If someone had told me then that a year on we’d still be in lockdown I don’t think I’d have coped at all. What a year....
I am so excited to be starting my CP2 placement in year 4 on Monday in such a fantastic school! I can not wait to get stuck in, learn from such a supportive and knowledgeable mentor and progress as a teacher. Any advice on good KS2 accounts to follow would be much appreciated! 😊
Lots of work and effort put into the #WorldBookDay toilet roll challenge @ParklandsLeeds@chrisdysonHT@NikiLouiseT. Dressed as Ginny Weasley for the special day, WBD purposely postponed a week so ALL children back at school can take part. Great decision made.
I’m so impeccably proud of the princess she’s worked so hard on her book day challenge it’s taken a couple of days but she’s done it! Only helping with the glue gun for safety she’s done amazing ! Even if I’m finding glitter for weeks! @ParklandsLeeds@chrisdysonHT#worldbookday
