There's so many single player or pve games from the past that would patch out exploits that literally hurt nobody. But I was genuinely upset when CDProjektRed patched out speed glitches from Cyberpunk BEFORE addressing actual issues with the games intial release. .

Crimson Desert players found a trick that allowed them to fly by spamming the stab ability while airborne Pearl Abyss saw this exploit & instead of patching it, added a whole new animation, making it a real mechanic THIS is how you treat players right!

@GameDevMicah @valvesoftware The reload change doesn't affect the professional scene much funnily enough since it already made sense to wait to reload. I would get anxious watching a streamer hold an angle with 5 rounds left like "please reload" but they instead swing and win a 1v3 out something

@GameDevMicah Idk about this one chief. I'll look into when I get home but pearl abyss has a pretty distinct art style already and this game has had that look long before they had access to sketchy tools. At the very least, I doubt it's as blatant as the marathon case lol
