Just going to leave this here. I’m happy to have conversations, even with people whose views diametrically oppose mine. But, I reserve the right to block people. I will try not to (that’s not what I want) but as soon as people use ad hominem or insults, I’ve no time for you.

@GBNEWS Since Keir Starmer has caused or exacerbated most of those problems, I’m not sure the is the best argument.

@curedivy @rddy97 @novaramedia @AyoCaesar Except, again, we are not starting there because all of the proposals so far have gone much further. Like I said in my op, I am not against the concept, but many, want this to run into adulthood. IT NEEDS PROPER DISCUSSION!

@Clyde_Ghost @rddy97 @novaramedia @AyoCaesar We are starting there and the person you are criticising in the video is starting there as wel. She said 16 year olds shouldn't be with people over 18 under law to prevent 30 year olds doing that. 17 and 18, other teens, should be doing allat. 16 isn't an adult.

Should the age of consent be staggered? @ayocaesar argues that at 16, people are old enough to want to explore sex, but they should still be protected from coercion and manipulation by people who are much older. She argues that the dynamic between partners affects their ability to make an informed choice – and the law should reflect that.

@DeirdreBoleyn @Bitofhonesty @novaramedia @AyoCaesar Young people can be manipulated and taken advantage of politically. They can be mature enough to have sex, but inexperienced enough to be manipulated by older people esp emotionally/politically. A staggered AOC may work, but it IS incompatible with the voting conversation.

@Bitofhonesty @novaramedia @AyoCaesar Young people can be manipulated and taken advantage of sexually. They can be mature enough to vote, but inexperienced enough to be manipulated by older people esp emotionally/sexually. Italy has staggered age of consent. Perhaps a good starting point?

I have genuinely been shocked by the hateful comments from both pro-Israel and pro-Palestine supporters on social media in response to our discussion on @JeremyVineOn5 with me @theJeremyVine @jonsac & @MarinaPurkiss. I’ve not seen anything like it. Antisemitism, misogyny, Islamophobia, people dragging me being black & gay into it (WTF does that have to do with anything). Just appalling. It’s not on, I condemn it all.

Why are we still stuck dodging craters every time we leave the house? For a council that prioritises road maintenance, vote Labour on May 7th. Look at their record in Sandwell, they've been ranked the third best for road repairs in the country. It's time Dudley caught up.

@albieamankona Whilst I don’t think either should have been arrested or charged, there are material differences between these two cases that make your argument a false equivalence. The green candidates have not removed everything & hid their accounts for a start.

Lucy Connolly but make it woke… if you think what Lucy said on social media was fine, but castigate this Muslim woman for a social media post, I think you are a racist hypocrite. I say sod them both, neither should be in public life & they should be ostracised.

But it is a huge scandal being ignored by most of the media. Why?
Fraser Nelson@FraserNelson

@dodgson_sally @AsplinKevin It's hard to find proof of secret gifts. "Follow the money" may be the oldest maxim in journalism, but in this case only The Guardian managed it. Farage is furious and says it used "illegal" means. I have no idea how they did it. But Farage now admits it.
