@theBillCarter @LaneyHawes @GregAbbott_TX In our district (I'm in the same one as Laney Hawes) the librarians are actually the technology specialists. I doubt our school board even knows this. They know very little about how our schools actually function.

School districts across TX are under water & haven’t seen a student funding increase since 2019. @GregAbbott_TX continues to hold our $ hostage for his voucher plan. Unsurprisingly, the first thing my district has decided to cut is 21 librarians. This has always been the plan.

@ShelbyHintze @_Kristine_A Utah has cool morrnings and evenings and it's drier. TX is hot 24/7 and more humid. Utah feels great to a Texan even if the daytime high is the same both places.

@chaedria @BetoORourke my sister (who lives in TX) worked voter registration drives almost every weekend this year. the level of voter suppression organizers are dealing with is absolutely staggering.

.@BetoORourke ran as fair, honest and organized of a race that one can run for the top post in a state that is the crown jewel of the GOP. There is very little Dem/Progressive infrastructure in TX at that level to support a candidates, and it will take time. He did very well.

Almost every college student I know who votes in Texas has submitted a ballot application but not received a ballot which would need to be received by the Elections Administrator Tuesday. My kid just sent me a sad text. “I wanted to help @BetoORourke win.”#votersupression

@allimoone @mouthyjen personally i thought it was a great prequel! i went into it having a lot of doubts but suzanne crafted such an interesting and complex story without getting readers to sympathize with snow, it also made the original trilogy much more interesting imo

@laurenthehough I just figured this out last week! right-click the image and select Wrap Text > In Front of Text from the menu. Now the image is in its own layer and you can move it without messing with the text.
