@TejasTekk that substitution never works. Mbuemo was great on the right. should've swapped in Zirkzee for Sesko instead of Amad. Amad could've come on later

MRP is holding us back, it's a thing from our socialist time, we should get rid of it, the developed economies let sellers decide prices and buyers negotiate or walk away
Ramanand@Ramanand06X

"Train number 12510, from Guwahati to Bengaluru… just another journey, until one small incident caught everyone’s attention," "In the sleeper coach, a vendor was moving from seat to seat, selling fruit cakes as if everything was normal," "A passenger picked up a packet, checked the MRP — ₹40 — and was about to pay," "But the vendor stopped him and said, ‘It will be ₹50, sir,’" "The passenger paused and calmly asked, ‘The MRP is ₹40… why ₹50?’" "The vendor replied without hesitation, ‘Sir, I delivered it to your seat, there’s a ₹10 service charge,’" "And that’s where things got interesting," "The passenger responded firmly, ‘I’ll only pay ₹40… and I need a bill,’" "The vendor changed his tone, sounding a bit emotional, ‘Sir, we have families to feed… we have to charge a little extra,’" "But the passenger didn’t budge, ‘You’re already paid for this job… this extra charge is illegal. If needed, I’ll file a complaint with IRCTC,’" "The vendor just smiled and said, ‘Tell whoever you want… we always charge ₹50,’" "The rest of the coach stayed silent, but everyone was listening," "No one spoke up… maybe because this has now become ‘normal,’" "But the real question is — has MRP become just a number printed on the packet?" "This isn’t about ₹10… it’s about accountability in the system," "If this continues, overcharging in the name of ‘service’ will become routine," "It’s time for strict action… otherwise even those who raise their voice will eventually fall silent,"

I wish someone told me these things when I was trying to lose weight: Boring works. The exciting workout plan you found on YouTube will last 2 weeks. The simple one you can repeat every day without thinking will last years. Results come from the boring one. You can’t change what you don’t track. I thought I was eating 1,800 calories. I was eating 2,600. I only found out because I tracked for 7 days. That one week changed everything. The scale is not your enemy, your reaction to it is. Weight goes up and down daily. Stop panicking at one bad morning. Look at the 7-day average. Nobody cares how fast you did it. Nobody asks “kitne weeks mein kiya?” They just see the result. So stop rushing. Sleep is not a reward for a good day. It’s the foundation for tomorrow’s fat loss. I ignored this for a year. Cost me a year. The belly is always last. Always. If everything else is changing and your belly isn’t, you’re on track. Just not there yet. There’s no perfect diet. There’s only the one you can follow on your worst day, during a festival, during travel, during stress. That’s the real test. Would have saved me 2 years of figuring this out the hard way.

@kawal279 Mcdonald’s iced coffee(which is great , will not listen to snobs) is also roughly the same price ( 149 for two iced coffees is a permanent offer in west and south/hardcastle franchisees)

@harsh_dwivedi7 Yes fr. They could've just AI generated images of auto's with the branding and achieved 90% of the traction they wanted to get. Brilliant stuff. Even their meta ads are pretty good

maybe people don't realise or even their team that the actual hidden marketing opportunity was labelling this idea as a "hidden opportunity" on X.
Tanay Kothari@tankots

we just discovered a hidden marketing opportunity no one is paying attention to. and it's happening in the streets of bangalore. US tech companies are burning millions on digital ads to reach bangalore. but the entire city is sitting in traffic, looking at the back of an auto rickshaw. not their phones. bangalore has some of the worst traffic in the world. the average person spends hours a day inside it. and almost no one in tech is using it to their advantage. so for @wisprflow's launch in india, we did something different. this week, 100 autos are driving through bangalore wrapped in wispr flow branding. if you're in the city this week, there's a chance the auto you're stuck behind is one of ours. send us a photo when you spot it!

@AnonDehlvi @TheBigGeek UHT tetra pak milk, ~74 for retail. Doesn't require boiling like your packet milk saves cost and easier to store with longer shelf life

@TheBigGeek How come milk is 63 wholesale when you can get it for 57 at retail? Is it some kind of business customer's price premium?

Not sure if Domino's will also follow suit and move from “100% Arabica” to a blended Robusta (nothing wrong with Robusta). Burger King Café has already removed “100% Arabica” branding in stores. Subway has quietly stepped away from pushing coffee. Coffee is finally becoming the beverage of choice. Cafe Coffee Day tried to replace tea years ago — they started the movement, even if they didn’t finish it. Now here’s the math: 7g shot (vs 9–18g standard) No Brand Arabica at ~₹1200/kg → ~₹8 per cup Milk at ~₹63/litre (Delhi wholesale) ~150ml per cup → ~₹9.5 Total raw cost per cappuccino ≈ ₹17–18 So ₹49–₹79 coffee is absolutely doable at scale. The real play isn’t margin on coffee. It’s footfall, higher cart value, and retention. Sell coffee right, and you don’t just sell coffee — you sell everything that follows.
Kawaljeet Singh@kawal279

Domino’s has come up with their first cafe concept - Cafe Domino’s Though the interiors are too underwhelming but I am very confused about the pricing strategy. Is this pricing feasible with the current coffee prices? People who are into coffee business can shed some light?
