I’m looking at teams like the Red Sox, White Sox, and Marlins, and frankly, I’m a little jealous. I want that feeling again as an Astros fan. I’ll live with a few reset seasons to get younger and more athletic.

It all went downhill for the Astros from here. Jim Crane decided this, and the bill has come due 3 years later. After a decade of dominance, the Astros have been reduced to a smoldering heap of what they used to be. While dynasties rise and fall, some implode prematurely due to self-inflicted wounds.

@CoachBPat @Clay_HTXSports Dusty played Maldanado ( .170 ) when a better catcher sat on the bench. Dusty played Montero , losing games and responded" what am I supposed to do with him" Astros won in spite of Dusty, not from his managerial skills.

Bryan Abreu being so bad has hurt this bullpen in countless ways this season. In the past, the 8th inning would be his. Now, you have to use a low velocity middle reliever as your setup man. King had a good first few months but this is what you get with low velocity. #Astros

@SanAntonioTim This is what I mean by a manager stealing a game. I get they missed opportunities but steal a win as a manager. I would’ve tried Abreu believe it or not. King hasn’t been good.

I don’t like seeing my team lose ever. However, the reality of the situation is that if they lose enough before the deadline they won’t make the mistake of being buyers. There isn’t a trade that makes them contenders. I’d prefer they sell but please don’t buy. #Chasethefight
