@FunBaseballFact Weird…I watched it on my tv just fine.

Manfred is more interested in getting short-term revenue from Netflix than building long-term fans by televising an event that truly appeals to young people. Personally, I find that a dumb business decision. But it is consistent with some of his other decisions.

The old Home Run Derby format when you were done after making 10 outs was way better imo. Only allowing 20/15 swings stops a Josh Hamilton moment from happening.

Your kids aren't going to 'stumble onto' baseball on Netflix. They have to choose Netflix. Pay for Netflix. Open Netflix. Then pick baseball over everything else. MLB keeps talking about growing the game and keeps paying to shrink it.

After witnessing the crowd for the HR Derby I am convinced that baseball is still the best sport in America. The NFL could never bring a crowd like that for a random All Star event.

This Home Run Derby is missing something really important. More home runs. Home runs shouldn’t count towards swings. Go back to the original outs format. Don’t go unlimited on just the last swing. A guy being able to smash unlimited home runs was incredible. Stop limiting them. It’s the freaking Home Run Derby.

Just because I am so tired of seeing Texans tweets on my feed in July. CJ Stroud will be even worse this year. The Texans might not make the playoffs, and that is honestly the best thing that can happen for the Texans so you don’t end up paying Stroud….
