Great team win in a close game vs. GCDS. Had a ground-rule double off a Draft Prospect sitting mid 90s. Batting .500 for the season so far with a 1.425 OPS! @RoccoDeMaio_AD @BaseballUCT

Felt really good at the plate yesterday against Gunn. Went 2-3 with a homer, a two-strike breaking ball single and a walk. Saw a lot of pitches as well. Looking forward to our next series vs GCDS later this week. @RoccoDeMaio_AD @BaseballUCT

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson showed up to the 1st day of their off-season workouts with a sweatshirt that says, “I love Jesus” Jackson also showed support for fellow Christian athlete Jaden Ivey last week through various RTs, after he was fired.

The overall philosophy is the issue. Full time MLB hitters hit, part time players (Marcelo is not a part time player). Stop with the “matchup” excuse for making bad decisions and over managing.

Alex Cora said if there had been runners on first and second when Marcelo Mayer stepped up to the plate in the 6th, they probably would’ve pinch-hit him for Monasterio because they like the matchup. I still question how the decision to platoon Mayer with IKF has ever made sense

Self-professed Christian & ESPN personality Ryan Clark said Jaden Ivey spews “hateful & evil Christianity”, while using The Bible out of context to rebuke him & claims Ivey should shut his mouth about LGBTQ because the WNBA supports the cause… This is bad fruit from Clark. (🎥: @thepivot)

Kendrick Perkins: I gave my life to God 5-6 years ago Also Kendrick Perkins: No, I don’t agree with Jaden Ivey & what the Bible says about homosexuality being a sin So no, @KendrickPerkins, you DID NOT give your life to God. You don’t follow Jesus Christ or His commandments.

@ClayTravis CB needs to retire and we will go from there. Most umpires are really really good, he isn’t.

Honest question how close are we to robot/AI umpires? If we have self driving cars couldn’t we have umpires that are essentially 100% accurate? Look at this missed call. Every pitch now could be AI. Feels inevitable:

Tommy John surgery is becoming the norm for younger players—and somehow we’re acting like that’s normal. It should concern everyone… but nothing’s changing. Now 13–14 year olds are getting it. If that doesn’t bother you, you’re part of the problem.

I guess being a Christian and standing firm on God’s word is now considered, “conduct detrimental to the team?!” Appreciate your boldness Jaden Ivey. Like and repost if you stand firm with Jaden on the Word of God!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

@CoachSwit The surest sign of insecurity is the dugout that chirps the loudest towards the other team instead of for their teammates.

True or false? Chirping in baseball feels way louder the last 10–15 years. I don’t remember it sounding like this 20–30 years ago. Now it’s constant. Social media? H.S.? Travel ball? Everyone trying to be heard? Or was it always there—just amplified now? ⚾️

This Easter, I invite you to look at Jesus, consider what he said and did, and ask for yourself what I believe is the most important question you will ever answer: Did he really leave behind an empty tomb? And if he did, what does that mean for you? This video was made possible and in collaboration with my friends at @ChildlikeMedia.

Whenever I get asked who my favorite player of all time my answer is always Pistol Pete. Not just for his basketball skills but his willingness to share his message of Christ
Melissa the Hopeful🏠Homemaker@BiblicalBeauty

'Pistol Pete' Maravich sharing his testimony of faith in Jesus Christ in 1987 less than one year before his death at the age of 40: "I want all of you to know this tonight about Peter Maravich. You may never have heard of me. It makes no difference. I'm just one person on this earth saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. I want you to know this, that the change that came into my life was Jesus Christ. It was not winning. I won all my life. I won every trophy, award, everything you can think of, but every time I won something, I wanted something more. I had to win again. It wasn't money, because money'll buy you everything but happiness. It'll pay your fare at every place but Heaven. Material things—I've driven everything some of you strive for from Rolls Royces to BMWs to Mercedes to Porsches. It wasn't religion because in the name of religion, Jesus Christ was placed upon that cross. And the purest thing about Christianity is the fact that it's your choice. You can't work. You can't earn. I knew that, and I understood it now. I want you to know this. The last thing I'd like to say is this, next week I'll be inducted into the Hall of Fame. I'll get that big ring. In fact, it's a bigger ring than I would have got for the championship, but I'll tell you something about all the awards. They all pale to the glory of Christ and what He's done in my life. It's amazing what He has done in my life. I wouldn't trade my position in Christ for a thousand NBA championships or a thousand Hall of Fame rings or for a hundred billion dollars. There's nothing like the joy of Jesus Christ in your life."
