On this Independence Day, we celebrate the best Service Academy teams of all time: First up, the 1985 @AF_Football Falcons. Air Force was ranked as high as number 4 after starting 10-0. Their only loss was at (16) BYU. Finished the year number 5. Biggest wins were vs (15) Notre Dame, at Navy, vs Army, and vs Texas. Current Head Coach, Troy Calhoun was a Freshman on the team. Chad Hennings, the future unanimous All American, Outland Trophy winner, 12 year NFL vet and 3 time Super Bowl champ for the Dallas Cowboys, and A-10 Thunderbolt Pilot was just a Sophomore. What a badass.
