@CarlBanksGIII Absolutely false. The most effective way to stop GT counter is a backside b gap player crashing hard. In that case we’re running GB counter instead. This scheme is probably more effective now than ever now that we can option read the PS or BS contain man.

@Challenger_ST I don’t disagree with this take entirely. However an MLB season is 162 games and being in good cardiovascular shape certainly has its place too.

Jason & Travis Kelce talking about the ridiculousness of baseball conditioning… “It makes no sense.” “You should be running SPRINTS or doing base running. Not running foul pole to foul pole.” STOP treating baseball players like marathoners

@SkinsDraft The taco holder appears on the delivery persons shirt. Hopefully it's not on the helmet.

@Commanders Pretty obvious by now what we're getting and I'm here for it. I'm holding out hope that MAYBE move away from the taco holder on the helmet. Put the spear on there with the SB era colors (not the dark burgundy) and you'll make people as happy as they can be short of the old logo.

@TourSwingsTommy This was the stinger hole so this is not his stock release. Those saying there's no power you are VERY wrong, his ball speed here was 173 and was higher than fleetwood's on the same tee shot. He also hit 170 ball speed off the deck with his opening 3w. Better than expected!

Bryson didn’t “learn how to release the club.” He felt the club get thrown. That’s the difference. The club didn’t move because of his hands.
It moved because his body finally sequenced correctly
and then decelerated. That’s what creates the release. Same exact thing in hitting. You don’t release the barrel with your hands.
You don’t “snap” anything. The barrel gets thrown
when the backside works under and the front side wins the collision. That’s the throw. If you have to think about releasing it you already missed it.

@flushingitgolf I like it a lot, but the times/days of the matches are too inconsistent and I never know when it's going to be on. Pick a day and time and stick to it.

The TGL has seen a massive ratings decline over the first 2 events of the new season. Week 1 fell from 919k on ESPN to 646k on ABC, a decline of nearly 30%. Week 2 fell from 1.05m on ESPN (with Tiger) to just 354k on ESPN 2 (without Tiger), a decline of nearly 65%. It’s also worth noting that the numbers from 2025 were panel only, and this year they are panel plus big data which adds an estimated 5% to the viewership. What are your thoughts on this? @GolfDigest Prime tiger with a 2025 driver easily cruises in the low to mid 130's in clubhead speed. He averaged 121-124 in clubhead speed LAST YEAR on TGL. As I said on another post, think Bryson or Min Woo Lee. That's how it was back then too, except with Tiger's iron and short game...

@jonathanrwall @GolfDigest Follow closer. I’m saying if he had a driver from 2025 back in 1999. His clubhead speed last winter was 121-124. If you don’t think he would be 130+ in swing speed in 1999 then I can’t help you. 130+ swing speed easily averages 195-200 mph ball speed with modern equipment.

@CoachGrier @GolfDigest Then he would’ve easily led to tour in driving distance with an extra 30 mph of ball speed 25 years ago, which he didn’t. A cruising ball speed of 195-200 back then is preposterous. Sorry, your math doesn’t make sense.

How far would Tiger Woods have hit it if he had today’s technology during the “Tiger Slam.” We have your answer — and it’s staggering. Also, trigger warning for the rollback crowd. 😬 golfdigest.com/story/tiger-wo…

@jonathanrwall @GolfDigest Meaning if he was using a driver from today in 1999 he would have easily averaged 195-200 ball speed. Think Bryson and Min Woo Lee today. EASILY.

@jonathanrwall @GolfDigest No I’m not…. His clubhead speed LAST YEAR on TGL was between 121-124. In 2018 he recorded a max swing speed on the PGA Tour of 129. Again, he was easily 130 plus in clubhead speed in his prime. Which would convert to a cruising ball speed of 195-200 mph.

@jonathanrwall @GolfDigest For reference, Tiger hit 120 mph with his modern driver during TGL LAST YEAR. 130 would have been easy for him 25 years ago. He would have cruised at 195-200 mph ball speed.

@jonathanrwall @GolfDigest Prime Tiger would have easily swung a lighter, longer, modern driver around 130+ in his prime. Imagine Bryson off the tee with tigers iron and short game. That’s exactly how it was too.
