Hitters think too much. Pitchers don’t think enough.

Reminder for all T-Mobile users: March 24-30 you can activate your free season pass to MLB TV thru the T-Mobile Tuesdays app. I’ve used it for years and it’s fantastic. Highly recommend.

Once a high school or college season starts, practice BP really shouldn’t have much of a dictation on whether or a not a kid is getting into the lineup… or whether a kid is moving up or down the lineup It’s in game performance that is really the only measure (unless you’re fortunate to have enough depth to intrasquad on non game days and get quality looks for hitters). If coach isn’t playing you, don’t depend on your BP to be the reason you ultimately get in or moved up in the lineup. If you get in and don’t do well… that was your chance. Keep working and be ready for the next one

@GataDawgB2B @nextlevelbb The younger guys are taught how to pace themselves at times to make it through the season. He wasn’t doing it for that purpose. He was flexing on what he thought was a HR. Huge difference.

@CoachHodes @nextlevelbb He blasted Andruw Jones many times also. I’d like to know how many players would bust their ass on every play if they played CF for the Summer heat of Atlanta in June, July and August.

Getting called out by a teammate can change a player's career for the better. Early in Bryce's career he played like an entitled brat at times. Now he's a true professional that empties the tank every time he steps on the field. Bryce developed into a JYD and great example for young players.
Baseball’s Greatest Moments@BBGreatMoments

That time Jonathan Papelbon fought Bryce Harper in the dugout after he didn’t run out a flyball.

@GataDawgB2B @nextlevelbb Acuna got blasted by Bobby Cox for pimping a HR that ended up being a single when it went off the wall….it wasn’t the first time, either.

@nextlevelbb It’s always entertaining when the relief pitcher who pitches 3 innings a week gets on an everyday player for not running out a pop fly. Acuna got blasted for not hustling on pop outs 4-5 years ago and dude has been on the DL twice with major knee surgeries since then.

DaddyBall coaches out here shitting on Max Clark but just dropped $500 on a showcase so their 11 year old can “get scouted”.

I remember people shitting on Barry Bonds when he wore an earring. Griffey Jr. cuz he turned his hat backwards in BP. Idc if the dude rocks his jock on his head as long as he plays for the team first.
Dan Clark@DanClarkSports

Max Clark is a clown. He deserves all the criticism he gets. Highly touted, but still just 21 and barely above mediocre in the minors (.810 OPS). Shows up to camp looking like a fool, with that much bling around his neck. Can't field for shit, dropping routine fly balls. Dumb.

Good hitters compress the baseball. Almost every average high school hitter can run in to a high pull side homer. Does everyone know this?
