Congratulations to Brooke and James, students at East High School who won a $12,000 scholarship for their primary flight training. Most of the funds will be used for their Private Pilot Certificate. Their accomplishment is even more meaningful because only about 85 scholarships are awarded nationwide. The Aircraft Owner and Pilot Association (AOPA) recognizes that East has had a strong program and partnership with AOPA throughout the years. ✈️

At 5:14 PM on Friday, March 13, 2026, the Lord called this sweet, beautiful girl home to be with Him. Meagan Letteri Boykin was a loving wife and the most incredible mother to our 4 children. Our world will never be the same without her. Arrangements are being made for her funeral service which will take place in Louisville, MS.

You cannot recruit your way out of a culture problem. More talent does not fix what is broken inside the building, it just gives the broken environment more people to affect. Fix what is going on in house first. The recruiting takes care of itself when the culture is worth coming to.
