@JaredSandler We were flush with infield prospects back then. Hanley Frias and Edwin Diaz.
Believe we lost Kevin Reimer and Scott Chiamparino in 1992.

@Evan_P_Grant Been reading Aaron since 2002 or 2003, always enjoyed his work.
Will follow him back to his old new home.

Very much admire Aaron's commitment to giving the community he cares about dedicated coverage. Support your local journalists. They care about the things you care about.

My big news: I've left The Athletic because they wanted me to stop covering the Twins. I refused to give up my dream, so I'm betting on myself and returning to my independent roots. I need your support to make it work. Join me and let's do this together: aarongleeman.com/welcome-to-the…

@CoachKetcham Claim to fame...we were 5 rows behind home plate for that game. The four of us never left our seat so we wouldn't jinx it. You're welcome Kenny.

@girdley Interesting. Videos are great, really enjoying them. Thanks for responding and keep it up.

@CoachKetcham Thank you very much.
The answer is DJI Pocket 3. It's designed for precisely the use case I'm using it for.

@girdley i’ve been working through your video that I recover from knee surgery, and enjoying them a lot.
My wife asked a question. I don’t know the answer to.
How do you have such a steady camera when you’re walking?

@Evan_P_Grant Fun to see him playing well again offensively.
English

@RangerBlake I think around 100,000 people have told me they were there for it.

Name someone who played for both the #MNTwins and the Blue Jays.
Let's see how long of a list we can crowdsource here.

@Evan_P_Grant "Pederson was not available in the Rangers’ clubhouse afterward to discuss it. Nor was most of the offense.
It seemed pretty appropriate actually. After all, they’ve been absent most of the month."

@JaredSandler Mooreland, 10, 11, 18
Seager 17, 20, and of course 23
Joc probably 17, 18, and 21? with the Braves would be my guess.

@BricePaterik And it’s really hard to sync the radio to the Victory plus stream because of this, it changes every inning.

@notgaetti Joe Posnanski went down the rabbit hole on speed with Walter Johnson. Physicists did the calculations and found that today Walter Johnson’s pitch would actually be measured at 94 mph or so. In church clothes. On flat ground. No throwing his hardest.

Why do people accept without question that one of these iconic athletes from the mid-1970s was a genetic freak perfectly built to achieve velocity on a level that has never been matched, either before or since, but not the other?
Why not both?

Not Gaetti@notgaetti
According to science, Nolan Ryan’s fastest pitch was 108.5 mph. I suppose it’s no wonder why he has the most: • no-hitters • one-hitters • two-hitters • three-hitters • 200-K seasons • 300-K seasons • strikeouts in a year • strikeouts in a career
