Signing day for 3 young men that I had the honor to Coach the past 4 years,and be a part of their journeys through high school. Each had their own adversities on their path to success and each remained true to the process. Proud and excited to see what the future holds for them.

One week since the #TransferPortal has closed, and I wanted to check this morning to see if any of the thousands of remaining football players had signed with a new school. There are still 5,896 active transfers looking for a home. FBS: 1,174 (20%) FCS: 1,544 (26%) D2/D3: 3,178 (54%) The facts: - 11,061 total players entered the portal this 2025-2026 cycle. - 53%, over half, haven’t signed anywhere. - Flip a coin. That’s your chance of finding a spot on a new team for this past cycle. #PortalSZN

Already 3,300 players in the transfer portal, and it hasn’t even OPENED yet for D1. You better have a plan before you enter…
