School choice is not about getting poor kids into private school because it is not enough $ nor do the privates want them. It is about a big payout to struggling church schools, paying vendors, politicians, and a windfall for parents that far exceeds any tax paid.

Public schools take everyone! Special education students, kids who don’t want to be at school, first generation Americans, and kids with criminal backgrounds. Private schools are not held to state standards on testing etc… why are their kids worth 10,000 and ours 6,500?

@Burrell_ALA Some get scared of drawing up on the board bc you’ll get questioned on it… but that’s the whole point. Get questioned and defend you stance. That how you learn and grow!
