We wanted to create championship players here at MVC, but we also wanted to create championship fathers and husbands. And we tried to do that by modeling it every day. When I look at our coaches, I know our players are able to see them and say "That's a real man." #HireGoodMen

As a young college coach I thought I was pretty sharp and once asked the HC if I could call a few plays during a blowout (looking back, I’m embarrassed I asked). His response is something I’ve never forgotten: “The one who experiences the consequences should make the decisions.”

@_CoachFerrari When I was that age I had a HC that empowered me in those moments but different strokes for different folks in different sports. If you were on yo job I don't see the problem with asking lol.
