Players… your ceiling in fact does diminish at certain points in your developmental career!
It’s not at 12 or 14… typically it’s when you’ve fully gotten through puberty & you’re nearing the middle to end of your natural physical growth
During this time, if you’re creating bad habits and not working with people who are truly holding you accountable across the ‘getting better’ spectrum, you are lowering your overall ceiling as a person and as a player
It’s ‘never too late to learn’ of course, but there are stages ages 15-19 where if you ain’t doing it right, your later career will likely tank or fall short of where it otherwise could have gotten
This is where most players are lost because this is when it’s hardest to make such big sacrifices in your life, your maturity or lack of often gets in the way
