There are few things more cringy than a coach who says “my players”, “my team”, “my staff”.

As an AD, I encourage parents to ask their kids a simple question: would you rather contribute to a winning program in a smaller role, or play every minute while consistently losing by large margins? There’s value in both, but the answer reveals a lot about priorities.

@CoachChamboOK While everything you said MAY be true........this feels like a "take my ball and go home" type fit that a child would throw. Hate to see this.

With every expansion of the playoffs, the non-CFP bowl games meant less and less. Kids, coaches, programs, and fans cared less and less about them. Players Sitting out, transferring out, and now full programs sitting out. They aren’t worth the injury risk, or adding a loss to your resume.

Good morning beautiful people.. Life is a wild thing.. one moment you can be staring into a mirror at a broken person and then the next moment a spark of motivation and inspiration can drop into your universe and change the trajectory of it all. Maybe it’s a memory of a good time or better days.. maybe it’s a random run-in with a life changing energy.. maybe it’s a perspective changer like the death of somebody you love.. or MAYBE.. just maybe.. you get to the point that you decide to finally say fuck it, and eliminate the anchors and start seeking out the things that make you feel good. Things that make you feel worthy.. things that make you focus on being happy while you do your one and only existence on this planet. Everyday is a chance for war if you want it… and on the flip side.. everyday if you consciously look for it, there is an opportunity to find something that makes you celebrate being alive.
