Instead of adding plays/concepts: 1) Learn the D’s rules & adjustments based on formations & motion 2) Throw a new formation or 2 they have not seen that you can run your best at them 3) Manipulate their rules w/ formations and motions to get to your best plays & players

A lot of people will call it a “Gimmick” formation, but FEED THE STUDS w/ IF/THEN: 1) ISO w/ your “stud”- can be a box check, leverage check 2) IF Stud QB- POSSIBLE 5 man box, go do your thing athlete! 3) IF Defense doesn’t honor the Diamond- quick screen to another STUD!

Idk about everybody else but WOW Sail/Flood have been showing up a lot bc of how multiple with the variations and ways to get to it! Utilize rollout and Playaction attached to your “Flood” concept as well!

@CoachDragge 1,000,000% It’s the same thing when it also comes to the weight room, to academics. It can’t be lip service, have to be intentional and show your program that it’s important. At end of the day, wins are nice. But we are supposed to be making young men and champs of life!

@CoachDragge I love this, a big one that we take seriously is by being intentional with daily character lessons, intentional time together as a program talking about a culture& brotherhood. But a big one is lead by leading and walking the walk and not just talking the talk. Actions > words!
