John Wooden said, "Champions never complain, they are too busy getting better."
The only thing complaining changes is your attitude and for the negative.
Focus on what you can control.
Complaining only brings stress and negativity.
Complaining is not a solution, it's only a distraction from action, gratitude, and growth.
Anyone can complain, great leaders rise above complaining to find a way.
6 Ways to Combat Complaining👇
1. What is within my control in this situation?
By focusing on what you can control, you take ownership and responsibility to make meaningful changes. It shifts your attention from external factors, over which you have no influence, to your own actions and decisions. You start to focus on where you can make a real difference.
2. What can I do to make things better?
This question encourages proactivity. By asking yourself what positive steps you can take, you move away from a passive stance of complaining to an active role in improving the situation.
3. Instead of complaining, I choose to focus on finding a solution.
This mindset is about being constructive, not destructive. You choose to focus your mindset on productive thoughts. Complaining often leads nowhere, but searching for solutions can lead to actual improvements and positive outcomes.
4. I accept the circumstances, but won't let them consume me.
Acceptance is not about resignation, it's about acknowledging reality and your environment. Once you accept what you cannot change, it frees up mental energy to focus on what you can influence. This mindset helps you focus on what matters and reduces your stress and frustration.
5. I am going to take action; complaining won't change anything.
This is about recognizing the futility of complaining. Taking action, even in small ways, leads to a sense of accomplishment and ownership. It can actually bring about change, unlike complaining. This mindset helps you focus on action instead of stagnation.
6. I choose to be grateful for what I have because in another life, I might not be that lucky.
Living with gratitude means choosing to focus on what you appreciate. Gratitude shifts your focus from what's wrong to what's right in your life. Recognizing and appreciating your blessings, no matter how small, can significantly improve your overall sense of well-being and happiness.
"Complaining is one of the ego's favorite strategies for strengthening itself." - Eckhart Tolle

We're just three days away from one of the most exciting games in WCBB this season! #9 LSU will host #1 South Carolina in an EPIC top 10 showdown. 👀🍿🍾
Two different teams with different game styles, yet both are dominating: South Carolina (+38.2) leads the nation in point differential at #1, and LSU (+30.2) follows at #2. Both teams are also in the top 5 in scoring, with LSU (91.7) ranking #1 and South Carolina (90.8) at #4.
In this upcoming game, the matchups and questions are interesting:
◻️Who wins the Transfer Battle between Van Lith and Paopao? Te-Hina Paopao has been crucial for South Carolina, scoring in double figures in every SEC game. On the other hand, Hailey Van Lith, with a breakthrough performance, scored 20 points and dished out 6 assists in a win versus Arkansas.
◻️ The Freshman Battle between Fulwiley and Williams, although they might not guard each other, is a must-see. Whichever freshman contributes the most gives their team the edge.
◻️The Battle of the Double Double Machines features Angel Reese (19.9pts/12.1rbs) against Kamilla Cardoso (13.3pts/10.7rbs). Cardoso, coming off the bench last season versus LSU, dropped 18 points. Angel Reese has been dominant in SEC play this season.
◻️ Can Aneesah Morrow hold her own against South Carolina’s formidable front-court? This is a question we have circled. She hasn't faced a frontcourt like South Carolina's this year, but with the Gamecocks' ability to throw different defensive players at Morrow in Watkins, Kitts, and even Feagin, how will she adjust?
◻️Potential X-Factors:
🐯Flaujae Johnson
🐔Bree Hall
Who do you have winning this matchup? Can #1 South Carolina continue their undefeated streak, or will #9 LSU be the first to hand the Gamecocks a loss this year? We want to hear your picks! Drop them below! ⬇️
