Not sure if this is useful or worth anything but my kids ran a 4x100 today in PE. We are fortunate to have a freelap system and I was thinking of ways to time their relay. Decided to tape the BLE chip to the baton. Worked beautifully. Has me thinking… @pntrack @MarkHoover71

@itzbfitz Nothing more intimidating that making up the stagger right away during the first leg!!! Pressure goes to the rest of the lanes. Put a 2nd leg that can fly followed by a dependable 3rd leg and you got yourself a great 4x1.

If your fastest sprinter is a good starter and turn runner, it might make a lot of sense to run them 1st leg of the 4x1. You can more confidently push the zone to run up to 105m with the baton, and also cause anxiety for your competition by getting out & grabbing a big early lead

@TYash42 I made a spreadsheet where you can enter the starting as - or + for yardage and it figures out start position. I have it so that you enter kicked to, returned to as well.
