Brighton - 3v2 with boards in goal ⚽️ - 3v2 (5s to score) 🌬️ - High Intensity 🗓️ - MD-4/MD-3 Brighton are performing a counter attacking activity where 1 team has 5 seconds to score. There are boards inside the goals to encourage attacking players to follow up for rebounds.

Of course, lead the player. Habits and metrics are different. You can express your individuality and passion without taking decisions away from players. Most importantly, there was a great study done in the UK about player retention of coaching points - the outcome? What you say on the sideline, roughly 90%, of the time is not even heard or remembered!

Unpopular coaching habits in youth ⚽️ coaching that should be more popular! • Sit more than you stand • 90% of coaching before, at the half, & after match • Coach in stoppages (restarts, etc) other 10% • Celebrate goals, hardest thing to do in football! 👍🏻 let them play!

De Zerbi’s great use of the Collective Concept: The Third Man, during the Initiation of Play phase in Zone 1. A Collective Concept that can be easily trained through Positional Games. Remember, no matter what you hear, Rondos and Positional Games are NOT just activation exercises at the beginning of practice. How many Collective Concept: Third Man Movements can you see in this clip? #KingKnightEd

Continuous 2v2’s 🔵vs🔴 🔵 start play by attacking and have to shoot within 5 seconds. 🔴 then attack against the blues who are now defending. Two new blues now attack against the reds who just attacked. Game continues with each pair attacking and then defending. Attackers get points for goals (manipulate how you want), defenders get a point for not conceding and two points for winning back possession. (Thread) Three Types of Counter-Pressing "Space-Oriented Counter-Pressing" *Dominate and control the space. *Counter-pressing players start to close in on the ball carrier while controlling space. *Drive the opponent into a specific space.
