Man so many people have reached out to me over the last few days, whether it was texts or comments. Thank you to everyone. I didn’t really understand or know how many people loved watching me compete. I always competed to the best of my ability and was never scared to try and score points and that’s something I’ll hang my head high on. It hurt me sometimes but other times it made me shine. If a wrestler needs “reaction time”, that implies the offensive action created a scoring position. Waiting to see if the defender can react before awarding points prioritizes the defense rather than rewarding the offense. Reward offensive success rather than reactive scrambling.
