@ThadWells Poorly blocked and the RB is doing too much... if he sticks his foot in the ground on his third step and presses the LoS. The RB cuts wide instead of attacking the LOS. Changes the entire path. And two if ND had this as a RPO they have slant all day.

This is why Inside Zone is the worst play in football.

@CoachTManes I think RPOs are great way to get QBs to start learning how to read. The use of gap scheme RPOs/Glance is now the way to go over IZ. Man is also the best way to stop RPOs. But you don't get a lot of man 3x1. So you can take advantage of that.

@CoachMac73 Culture isn't made bc the HC is walking the hallways. Culture is derived from sharing the same values and norms. It's the way you behave as a team. What creates culture is respect, trust and care. I've seen plenty of HC walk the hallways and can't tell you what culture is...

I hold the belief that the Head Coach of all sports should be on staff at the school in some capacity. You must have that presence on campus to keep the culture growing/evolving. That’s just my opinion though

@mccue_cole @CoachTManes With my job, time. I don't have to teach a class every 50 mins. I can breakdown film, not rush anything and it gives me my weekends back with my family.

@Jacket5193 @CoachTManes Not hiring off campus HC is such an old school way of thinking. Some off campus guys have more experience and are better quality. They want to be there, they aren't looking for the money or chasing stipends...

@Jacket5193 @CoachTManes Why, what's the argument that the HC has to be in the building? Outside the building, I have more time to focus on coaching than if I taught 7 classes or babysit in ISS. As long as the schedule is built so the players are supervised what's the difference?
