He retired at 34 with 462 HR and a career OPS of .854. Schwarber’s 33, and has 343 HR and .847 OPS 🫣

BREAKING: Left-hander Jesús Luzardo and the Philadelphia Phillies are in agreement on a five-year contract extension, sources tell ESPN. Luzardo, 28, was set to become a free agent after this season. The new deal will begin in 2027 and locks up one of baseball’s best young arms.

@String_Music77 @jayhaykid Pretty disingenuous to call it a “down year” when his OPS was .921 relative to a career average of .948, while setting career highs in HR, SB, PAs, nearly R and RBI, and leading the league in walks. All that really happened is he traded swing & miss for more power lol.

Wasn't an AS even though he carried an OPS over .900 into the break.
Just a criminally underrated player at this stage in his career and I don't really understand it.

Juan Soto and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. have been in MLB together for 7 years (2019-25) and Soto has been better than Vlad Jr. in *every single season*. No season exists where Vlad Jr was a better player than Juan Soto. What are we doing here?

@YankeeWRLD Seems impossible to have anyone compared to Skenes as a prospect. The guy was genuinely unhittable, and has been comically great since entering the bigs. Griffin’s stock is exploding, but we’re still talking about a guy with only 83 ABs above A ball & didn’t even crack 1.000 OPS.
