Logan Airport is trying something the United States hasn’t seen before. Starting June 1, travelers can go through TSA in Framingham and be dropped off at Logan already beyond security. $9 each way.

@OnlyInBOS Not to mention, unless the bus driver is a TSA agent, that means we’re trusting the security of Logan Airport to whoever Massachusetts decides to give a CDL license to, and we’ve seen that track record.

I actually love the @Patriots taking @karonprunty9 He has the size speed and tape to play Big Nickel, Safety and Special Teams. You can criticize that he would be UDFA but you never know who people have an eye on a la Ty Simpson.

@22classy Most fouls are not called and result in caused turnovers or goals for your team so overly aggressive play is rewarded. With serious consequences for these actions we would see a better cleaner game.

@22classy I think the players have outgrown the officials for sure. Language like causing displacement is really clear striking an opponent with your stick or the ball is also clear. The level of aggression in the game right now is at all time high because its worth the risk 1/2

Putting women's lacrosse refs in the tough position of determining if the defender "moved herself" into a dangerous position, or if it was truly a dangerous shot, is impacting so many big games down the stretch. I think replay is needed (clearly) - but the fact that we can walk away from replays more confused, with the wrong calls, is not a replay issue. It is a rules issue. Brutal!

@22classy Actually penalizing reckless and dangerous play would make it alot safer and more competitive.

@22classy Lets make Check to the head, dangerous contact and dangerous propel and follow through mandatory reds and see how the game changes.

@22classy For Division 1 put one official on the field to communicate and the rest go to the booth to watch on a screen so they can actually see and process whats going on. The game is too fast for the officials we have and theyre too stubborn to make it right via replay.

The coverage of women’s lacrosse has been epic this week… 4 Big 10 games, 6 ACC games. 8+ top 20 teams. Insane talent, athletes, gameplay. The rules however, have made it so insanely hard to officiate and even for the broadcast team to commentate what and why the things are happening. Tough look for the game - I hope we figure it out soon. It might stem from the fact that we say “player safety” is the number one priority yet players are permitted to shoot anywhere now, players are shooting consistently 75-90 MPH now (HELLO!), nobody can agree what constitutes a foul, let alone how long a foul should be served for, and we are running around without any protection. Before even getting to a helmet, how about something to protect a player getting hit in the chest (commotio cordis). Why do we need to wait for a tragedy to react? Everyone’s saying the same things, but behind closed doors. The white paper was a start, now let’s go figure it out (for next season, not during this one :) ) -Huge women’s lacrosse fan
