Everyone online has got it figured out. They're all making $10,000/month or more. They have incredible systems in place. They're scaling and multiplying every day. They have a big house, awesome car, beautiful spouse, no worries in the world. It's all a lie. Most everyone is just trying to figure it out same as you. They're just doing it with more confidence. Sure there are people winning online. Sure there are people who have figured out all kinds of ways to succeed. But remember only roughly 20% of American households earn $120,000/year. That's combining both incomes. That's the far right of the bell curve. Is it possible the everyone on social media is in the top 20%? No, it's not. In many cases you've probably got it figured out more that some of the people you follow, you just don't market yourself as well. I say this to remind you that trying to live someone else's life is a recipe for misery. You can create a fulfilling life without chasing $10k/month revenue (by yourself). You can live a fulfilling life without fancy cars or big houses. Instead of chasing the next online guru, be yourself. Own your journey and where you're at on it. Don't fake it til you make. Own who you are, accept what you must learn, strive for more. There's a difference in believing you will become more and faking who you are now. Don't be a faker, be a believer. It's ok that you're not there yet. See the person you want to become and start living toward that future. And when you see people who have it all figured out on here, remember they're only showing you the shiny parts.

You’re sacrificing fun now for something you truly want more later. The question is can you embrace that path.

While they’re hanging with friends, playing video games, chasing boys and girls, going to dances and movies, you’re focused on something you want more. You’re in the weight room. You’re taking extra reps. You’re watching film.

The hardest thing for young people to embrace about the path to greatness is being considered weird or different by their peers. Greatness isn’t hard to understand, but the path there isn’t easy. You’re going to have to act differently than those around you.

Building a program is a lot like trying to gain strength. There’s a lot of struggle at first. You’ll feel like things are getting better, the strength is coming. Then the next day everything feels heavy. Keep going, eventually you’re doing things you never thought possible.

The greatest display of love you can show someone is to recognize the greatness within them and then choose to hold them accountable to the standards and effort it will require for them to achieve that greatness.

My son’s eyes welled up, frustration boiling over… My wife had been helping with homework, but he was still struggling—so she called me in. I walked in blind. I glanced at the paper— 'It’s RIGHT HERE!' he shouted, pounding the page. I almost lost my cool🧵

The biggest fat loss myth: Just diet and exercise non-stop. But what if I told you that overeating can actually speed up fat loss? This boosts metabolism, stops plateaus, and keeps your body burning fat. Here’s how it works (backed by science): 🧵

Beat the sun and morning fires. These are two things I took from a retreat I did with @tyromper and @zachhomol_. It's not always easy doing the morning fire in the middle of winter in Wyoming but it's honestly the best thing I do in the mornings. There is peace in it.

Even if you were face to face with a lion, the fear isn’t because there is a lion there. It’s because of what the lion “might” do. This is why there’s a difference response to a sleeping lion, an alert lion, and a stuffed animal lion. Prediction of the future creates fear.

Yesterday my softball girls took turns sharing their fears. Then we took time to breakdown how fear stems from thinking about the future. Fear occurs based on a prediction of things to come. Learning to be in the present helps control fear.

Fat loss isn’t just about diet and exercise. Your nervous system controls how much fat you burn but most people overlook it. Master it, and you can burn fat without starving yourself or overtraining. Here’s how it works (backed by science): 🧵
