HS Football regular season=10 weeks
HS Basketball regular season=12 weeks
HS Baseball/softball regular season=8 weeks
Total=30 weeks (58% of the year)
Regular season only
HS summer break=9 weeks (17% of the year)
In-season training is non-negotiable if you want to develop.

When I prioritize speed, my endurance numbers improve.
Why?
Speed creates speed reserve.
Game speed becomes more efficient & requires less energy.

You can’t pay someone to work hard for you.
I see too many athletes going to private lessons 4x a week thinking it’s going to make them elite.
But at the end of the day it doesn’t payoff because they still have average work ethic.
How you do the work is still the key.

I believe the weight room is a place of transformation.
It teaches discipline: you have to train on days you don’t feel like it
It teaches toughness: you have to fight through discomfort.
It teaches leadership as your teammates success enhances your own.
