A good drill will allow the athlete to fail at the drill. Being able to have two outcomes, success or failure, will give them feedback to help distinguish between right and wrong and learn the proper feel.

Had pro coach work w Cubs, White Sox and Red Sox in facility today along w some college coaches from Iowa and Ohio. Sprinkle in some college and pro hitters and you have a day from 8:30-6:30 w no break - because why would you do that when you’re talking hitting?

Screening: if I see an athlete with balancing struggles this is the order inhow I think:
1)breathing- is it internal noise or posture
2) foot - is it stable?
3)ankle- How well do they D-flex?
4)hip- can the adduct without hiking?
5) vision- is it their only driver for stability?
