Looking back, with the wisdom I have gained over my 47 years, I have come to realise a very important thing. David Baddiel was carried by, first, Rob Newman, and then subsequently, Frank Skinner. He has never actually been funny.

Outrageous that someone on benefits can receive £25,000 a year - more than what two million people earn on the minimum wage after tax (@thetimes). This isn't just economically unsustainable, it's morally wrong. We should be rewarding work, not dependency

Sheffield Council signed a 25 year road maintenance contract worth £2 billion.
25 years. For road maintenance.
When NASA awarded Space X a contract to take humans to the moon, it was a 6 year contract.
In fact, the average road maintenance contracts dished out by councils are longer than the average space exploration contract awarded by NASA.
