@YamJolmqvist @MightySoilsofMD did up to 3 m for MD, DE and NJ. Looked at pedology and geomorphology relationships and carbon stocks in tidal wetlands. Joe Manetta studying under Dr. Mark Stolt also did deep RI soil carbon stocks. @MuckDragon has done some great work in NC. Part of NRCS grant.

@MarianTolen Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. It sounds like that might have been the mentality of the office you were at? The NRCS offices in VA, MD and NJ from what I've heard are pro-women. I'm sure there are many more throughout the country, but that is what I'm familiar with.

I've said this before, but I'll say it again... The U.S. federal government has a lack of diversity with minorities in the NRCS. Soil judging experience gives minorities the upper hand applying for soil science positions. Recruit and encourage minorities in soil judging.
