At least we have an entertaining Giro, no? 😅 And can everyone stop acting like this stage suits Jonas, please.

Jonas Vingegaard wins on Corno alle Scale! 🏆 #GirodItalia Credits to Felix Gall, putting a hammering blow into his podium competitors, Jai Hindley and Giulio Pellizzari. ... Davide Piganzoli finished P3?! 😂

@Tgarratt10 So funny how it’s always fans of tinpot clubs that are so bothered about this😅

No one denies you’re not a committed fan, but you are inherently a glory hunter, otherwise you’d follow your local mls team or Brentford. You chose Chelsea cause they are successful, simple.
Alex Coleman@DarkOfTheMovie

If you love & support a club it doesn’t matter where you’re from. I’m American but I’ve been religiously watching Chelsea since 2014, learned our history and I’ve gotten to visit the Bridge twice. I’d be damned if someone said I wasn’t a real fan😭

El corredor cuyo número coincida con el último dígito de tu celular debe hacer podio en el Giro para que ganes 1000 millones de euros. Lo consigues? 1- Vingegaard 2- Arensman 3- O' Connor 4- Carapaz 5- Pellizzari 6- Enric Mas 7- Bernal 8- Adam Yates 9- Ciccone 0- Milan #Giro

@allergy_al Nah that’s actually crazy kinda explains how del toro was second in the ranking after mopping up some 2nd tier races whilst clearly not being the 2nd best cyclist in the world

@Cobra3289 @InsideOut2912 Just went back to check and that was 800m so 1/2 the distance. Jonas and Pogacar created a huge gap but it was nothing compared to today on Redoute IMHO.

What shocked me the most was the gap that Pogačar and Seixas were able to create on a 1.5 km climb 🙂 #LBL

Polish streamer Łatwogang’s 9-day, 24/7 livestream has ended after raising over 192 million złoty (around $45 million) for Cancer Fighters, supporting children battling cancer. This makes it the largest charity livestream ever.

@LanterneRougeYT @friebos Yeah but even if they skip turns on the flat the biggest damage is done on the climbs where they have to go over their limit to follow him which imo is why they drop later

@friebos Pog has the highest threshold & durability of all the riders. In a fresher state, MVDP can follow him on Kwaremont, Seixas on Redoute & Pidcock Sante Marie. When they relay and increase total fatigue for themselves it makes it more likely they are dropped later. For 2nd its fine

Sometimes I wish someone wouldn’t work with Pogačar just so people could see what this supposedly ingenious tactical ploy would actually achieve. Suspect the clamour would die down pretty quickly.

@InsideOut2912 It was a crazy performance but I think with the conditions really suiting pogs seated style along with the race being made harder than usual I think it became a race of attrition unusually which is what made it look the way it did

@daniellloyd1 @jorgepontedeira Also worth noting they have no where near the grand tour success that froome or contador had definitely better seeing the best gt riders turning up to the biggest classics

@jorgepontedeira It's a good point, although those five riders combined have started fewer cobbled monuments than Pogacar has won. I think what I'm trying to say is that, if you want to be seen as one of the all time greats in the future, you'd better be winning the biggest one day races too.

Best result in a monument: Alberto Contador: 9th Nairo Quintana: 9th Chris Froome: 36th It's easy to forget that there was a generation or two where classics and Grand Tours were almost two entirely different disciplines. Whether you enjoy watching Tadej Pogačar dominate the one day classics or not, he has set a very good precedent for future pros - winners of Grand Tours can and probably should race monuments (even cobbled ones). That's the thought process that future greats will have as they're growing up, and that's got to be a good thing.

@InsideOut2912 Honestly it’s shocking, I agree he should’ve played it differently but pog pulled 70/30 and even if Remco came back don’t see how it really increases his odds of winning just reduces tadejs odds which I think is what all these people saying horrible things to him wanted

Yes, MVDP made some tactical mistakes, but the abuse is not justified 🙇🏽‍♂️ It’s just not easy to beat one of the greatest athletes of all time, and it’s probably better, in the long run, to cooperate with him, even if you know it hurts your chances 😬

@SportsWithJay0 @RankOnListd Certainly tough to cut one of these must admit I’m too young to remember lakers very clearly if I’m not wrong they beat the big 3 Celtics that year, maybe as a run it’s better than bucks but in terms of impact on a franchise and giannis legacy it’s massive

We don’t have these type convos much, but it is true that some rings hold more weight than others. These are my most respected championships! Is there anything you’d change?
