“Danielle Gallegos, a 38‑year‑old woman from Albuquerque, New Mexico, regained consciousness just as she was about to undergo an organ donation procedure an event that has sparked widespread concerns about medical ethics and protocols.
She was admitted to Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque in 2022 after a life threatening health emergency left her in a coma. Doctors determined her condition as non-recoverable and informed her family that there was no hope of recovery.
With a heavy heart, her family agreed to donate her organs, a decision they believed honored her values and could save lives.
However, as preparations for the organ retrieval began, Gallegos’s sisters noticed unexpected signs of tears rolling down her cheeks and faint physical responses. Despite reassurances from the organ donation team that these were involuntary reflexes, her family insisted something was not right.
Their instincts proved correct. On the very day of the scheduled surgery, Gallegos responded to a command to blink. This stunning moment prompted the medical team to cancel the procedure immediately. She went on to make a significant recovery and is now alive, speaking out about her experience.”

Pope Leo XIV received representatives of the International Association of Exorcists (AIE) in a private audience on Friday, March 13. They presented a report on the growing prevalence of cases related to occultism, esotericism, and Satanism, and the spiritual consequences they believe this has for many people.
During the meeting, the Association asked the Pontiff to ensure that every diocese in the world has one or more adequately trained exorcist priests. The request concerns not only the number of exorcists, but above all their preparation: seminary training, specific programs for new bishops, and clear discernment criteria for addressing particularly delicate pastoral situations.
According to Father Francesco Bamonte, Vice President of the AIE, ignoring these phenomena leaves many faithful without an adequate response to grave spiritual suffering, sometimes pushing them toward inappropriate solutions. This is why exorcists insist on the need for serious, prudent, and Gospel-based pastoral care.
During the audience, the Pope was also presented with the book Guidelines for the Ministry of Exorcism, along with an image of Saint Michael the Archangel from the sanctuary of Monte Sant'Angelo. Leo XIV also recalled his past acquaintance with and appreciation for Father Gabriele Amorth, founder of the International Association of Exorcists.

Ms. Suzanne Chin, a lawyer and mother of two, suffered a heart attack in 2009 while she was living and working in Hong Kong. Despite intensive efforts at resuscitation, she remained comatose and was declared brain dead. Doctors advised her husband to remove her from life support.
“Then, three days after she was admitted, she woke up from her coma. She recovered within a week and left the hospital. According to publicly available information, Ms Chin is now living in Singapore, still working as a lawyer, still a wife and mum. She is well, and she is alive.”
There is a simple medical explanation for recoveries from “brain death” such as Ms. Chin experienced: global ischemic penumbra, or GIP, which is like a power outage of the brain.
During periods of low blood flow, the brain (like any other organ) shuts down its functions to save energy. When brain blood flow decreases below 50% of normal, the brain becomes quiet and unresponsive to testing, exactly mimicking “brain death.” But brain tissue destruction doesn’t occur until brain blood flow drops below 20% of normal for several hours.
People in the 20-50% GIP range of brain blood flow will not respond during brain death testing, but with continued efforts to improve cerebral blood flow, their condition is potentially reversible.
GIP is like a power outage in your home: nothing works, but the wiring isn’t destroyed. Get the current flowing again and the lights will come back on.
In the same way, with continued efforts to improve cerebral blood flow, the lights will come back on for some of these patients as well.
Unfortunately, most don’t get this chance because brain death is a self-fulfilling prophecy: these people very quickly either have their support withdrawn or become organ donors.

In the early 600s, an elderly hermit named Saint Vitalis of Gaza arrived in the city of Gaza after many years of living alone in the desert. Even though he was about sixty years old, he chose hard physical labor, carrying heavy stones each day just to earn a few small coins. But every night, people saw him walking into the city’s brothels. In a deeply religious community, this shocked many people. Soon, rumors spread everywhere. People began calling him a hypocrite and a fraud, and many treated him with open disrespect.
For years, Vitalis never defended himself. He quietly accepted the insults and judgment. What no one in the city knew was that he never went there for sinful reasons. Instead, he used the money he earned from exhausting labor to pay for time with the women—only to sit and speak with them kindly. He encouraged them to believe they deserved a better life and offered help to those who wanted to leave that painful world behind.
Little by little, he helped many women escape their situation. He gave them money for dowries, helped them find safe places to live, and connected them with honest work so they could begin new lives. But he always asked them to keep his actions secret. Vitalis understood that if people knew the truth, the women’s past would follow them forever. So he allowed the city to believe the worst about him in order to protect their future.
One night, Vitalis was badly attacked in the street and later died alone in a small room. At first, people in Gaza showed little sympathy. But at his funeral, many women appeared—women the city barely recognized anymore. They bravely shared the truth about the man everyone had judged. As the story spread, the city was filled with regret and sorrow. The man they had mocked had actually been quietly saving lives. In time, the church honored him as a saint, reminding the world that true kindness is often hidden behind misunderstanding.

The World Health Organization has classified the birth control pill as a Group 1 carcinogen, placing it in the same category as known cancer-causing substances like asbestos and tobacco. Group 1 designation means there is strong evidence that the substance can cause cancer in humans under certain conditions.
Experts stress that this classification does not mean all users will develop cancer. The risk is influenced by factors such as duration of use, age, lifestyle, and individual health. For many, the benefits of hormonal contraception—such as regulating periods, reducing risk of certain cancers, and preventing pregnancy—may still outweigh potential risks.
This announcement has sparked global conversations about the safety of hormonal contraceptives, informed decision-making, and the importance of consulting healthcare providers. Understanding both benefits and risks is key to making choices that best support long-term health.

Morning rant:
2022 successfully, and rightfully, washed a lot of retail “investors” out after piling in during COVID and believed markets where a get rich quick scheme and “up only”.
Hell even last year was an immediate reward to buying every dip.
We are 1.8% off all time highs and a lot of accounts on here acted like yesterday was coming out go the Great Depression.
There needs to be another “cleansing”.
Weak hands need to be removed.

Here’s the reflexive truth that George Soros taught us to see so clearly: the very act of so many people waiting for the crash changes the probability of it happening. When the crowd is positioned defensively, heavy cash, underweight equities, short covering already exhausted, the fuel for a true panic sell-off is missing. Perception of imminent collapse becomes self-defeating: everyone sells early or stays out, so the downside lacks the forced liquidation and margin-call cascade that turns a correction into a crash
