there's a moment when the path you've been walking isn't the destination. niotebook taught me that. but that moment cracked something open. i've spent the last stretch reading, building, breaking things to understand them. the dev community—every coder sharing their thinking—you've been my invisible curriculum. and now i'm standing at something new. i don't fully know what it is yet. that uncertainty? it's the best feeling. something's coming. i have no idea where this leads. that's the whole point.

Projects are now available in Cowork. Keep your tasks and context in one place, focused on one area of work. Files and instructions stay on your computer. Import existing projects in one click, or start fresh.

@FlyaKiet @mattpocockuk The relevant text is: "Using OAuth tokens obtained through Claude Free, Pro, or Max accounts in any other product, tool, or service — including the Agent SDK — is not permitted" I suppose the simple reading is: So long as the tool is not handling the OAuth token, it is OK.

It would be great if Anthropic spelled out what is allowed with Claude subscriptions. Is a Ralph Wiggum bash loop a TOS violation? Is running 6 Claudes in Conductor or Superset allowed? Using Claude in Zed editor via ACP? @mattpocockuk did they provide any clarity on this?

I just want to remind the rest of the world: every single AI company here in Silicon Valley get tokens for absolutely free rn It’s only you paying those 200$ for max plan
TFTC@TFTC21

Jensen Huang: "If that $500,000 engineer did not consume at least $250,000 worth of tokens, I am going to be deeply alarmed. This is no different than a chip designer who says 'I'm just going to use paper and pencil. I don't think I'm going to need any CAD tools.'"

No disrespect to Linus Torvalds, but this guy is the greatest geek alive 🫡 Created UNIX in 1971 when he was 28 years old. Created Go in 2009 when he was 66 years old😲 He also developed the B programming language (which led to C), created UTF-8 encoding (making international text possible online), and designed essential tools like grep that developers still rely on daily. He also helped with the development of Multics (that led to UNIX), Plan 9 from Bell Labs and Inferno operating systems. That's 4 operating systems in total... Most people don't even use these many OS. Pretty impressive resume, right? 🔥 And it's a shame that many people, even the ones in the IT and tech industry, don't know him. Ken Thompson.... Remember the name 🙏

Last day at work after 15 years with the same team. 15. I was part of the Glose founding team, and we grew from 3 to 20 people. Then we went on an amazing adventure with Medium and grew much bigger instantly! What a ride! And now I can't wait to start the next chapter!

the way i'm currently working on my project is => implement a full sprint with multiple streams using claude code in each instance, then once sprint is done, call in codex-5.4-xhigh and run multiple focused audit-reviews on the completed sprint, and then create an action plan using the codex reviews => run address action plan with targeted focused smaller streams back in claude code. i currently have $200/mo claude sub and $20/mo codex sub [through an offer claim for a month].

Have you tried the claude desktop app? claude [ chat + cowork + code ] all in one but with distinct interfaces and with recently added features, the handshakes between these modes is more or less seamless now But I do get why OpenAI is trying this and do think it’ll be great if they roll out a refreshed take on a unified interface, interesting times ahead nonetheless

So today we still go to chrome to search and codex to code and chatgpt to ask questions. I could definitely see adding more computer-like functionality to chatgpt, they absolutely should, so it could actually do work and interact with the device. A better zero-click "auto-start".

As much as I want Codex and ChatGPT to work together I'm reasonably sure this will fail, for the main reason that this is a pressing problem primarily for OpenAI and not for its users. What its users want is an actual Desktop app that can do work on their own device, not a frankenstein
