@TradeDadLog As someone who has traded for a long time and coached people on psychology, in this exact situation, hit that lockout button on your account. Markets will be there tomorrow, greed is just as bad as revenge trading. Never let a green day turn red out of greed.

2am and I don’t know if I should laugh or cry. I had my 5th green day secured. Payout ready. Day was done. But I saw one more setup I liked and went for “just a little more” to max the withdrawal… You know the rest. Hit daily loss limit again. I’m exhausted of repeating the exact same mistake over and over. Being so close and still blowing it hurts different. This is getting ridiculous.

Taking partials on TopstepX is simple! Here's how it works: Example: You enter a Buy Market order for 5 contracts 📈 To take partials: Right-click on your chart at the price you want to exit🖱️ Select "Limit Sell"📝 Choose the quantity you want to sell at that level🔢 Repeat for as many partial exits as you need✅ You can place multiple Limit Sell orders at different prices to scale out of your position gradually.🎯

@CoachDBA Great trade Dakota! Quick question, how do you partially close your position on TSX? I am always afraid it'll hedge if I do it so I typically let my full position run but would like to more trailing stops if I can do partial closes.

Before an unproven trader goes live, the first question should be: “How do I not lose the account?” Answer: survival first, profits second. • Trade smaller than you can • Set a hard daily loss and stop • Only take A setups • Cut losses fast, no hoping • Protect your mental capital (it’s depleting through the day and you can’t measure it) Stay alive. Profits come later. Don’t chase the hype.

It's well deserved man, you are the goat 🐐! Someone who trades live daily and educates without pushing any type of course, code or anything.
