🇲🇩🇪🇺In Trieste, I joined the high-level conference marking 30 years of the @CEI_Secretariat. We exchanged views on regional cooperation, solidarity, and CEI’s role in advancing EU integration and economic growth. For Moldova, CEI is a importnant bridge to our European path.

A peaceful settlement in the Transnistrian region is central to the stability of the Republic of Moldova and southern Ukraine. Russia is failing to destabilize the region by weaponizing energy. This shows the growing resilience of the Republic of Moldova. I reassured Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Valeriu Chiveri, of the EU's continued support to secure Moldova's territorial integrity as a future EU member state.

At the 🇪🇺 Ambassadors Conference, I joined Commissioner @MartaKosEU & Albania’s FM @HoxhaFer in the session “Strengthening the EU through Enlargement.” Enlargement is a strategic investment in Europe’s peace & security. 🇲🇩 remains committed to advancing its EU path.

Productive meeting with EU HR/VP @kajakallas in Brussels. Discussed Moldova’s EU accession path and ways to strengthen 🇲🇩–🇪🇺 cooperation, including in security and defence. Moldova remains firmly committed to its European future.

🇱🇹🇲🇩 Had a very productive discussion with Moldova’s Deputy PM & Foreign Minister @MihaiPopsoi on advancing a robust Lithuania–Moldova agenda. Our talks focused on strategic cooperation, regional security, resilience, energy, and Moldova’s reform path. Despite intense pressure from Russia, Moldova has made real progress on EU‑related reforms — a result of clear leadership, dedication, and resilience. Moldova’s recent experience in resisting Kremlin’s hybrid and electoral interference offers valuable lessons for strengthening democratic resilience acros the region and whole Europe. Lithuania remains a staunch supporter of Moldova’s European futures, stand firm with its people and shares steong belief that it is both - import and achievable. Moldova’s progress on its EU path is remarkable, dear @sandumaiamd. Moldova just joined the Single Euro Payments Area and the EU’s roaming scheme. Today in Nicosia, we continue to work together on the next steps towards EU accession. Making sure all Moldovans will benefit.

Welcome Moldova and Ukraine to the EU roaming free area! As of today, you can ‘roam like at home’ because we are preparing a home for you in the European Union. The benefits of our Union bring Europeans across the continent closer together - also ahead of EU accession.
