About 60 miles away from the supercell caught with my camera about an hour or so ago. Incredible anvil and over shooting tops of this supercell. @WxZachary @MaxVelocityWX @weatherdan

Developing supercell just north of Bella Vista, AR. Watched it developed a big fat inflow tail with some scuddy features about 10 minutes ago. @WxZachary @MaxVelocityWX @weatherdan

Huge props to the SPC today, the CIG 1 risk WORKS! The setup was conditional, but several strong and large tornadoes still occurred in northern Oklahoma. Even though the 10% probability didn’t verify, today shows exactly why CIG 1 was introduced, which is to highlight the potential for strong tornadoes even in more conditional environments.

Strong tornadoes will be possible this afternoon and tonight. Yes, here in Arkansas! This happens occasionally and has happened a few times this year already. I know this sounds scary, but there are ways to protect yourself and prepare for a day like today. -Storm shelters are great, get there if a warning is issued immediately. -Don't have a shelter? We can still do some things to protect you, the kiddos and the pets! Find the innermost room, lowest level of your home. Put the most walls between you and the outside as possible. Windows are bad, stay away. Use helmets, mattresses, pillows, etc. to cover your body in case of an impact. This could help protect you from flying debris. -Weather radios are great to keep you informed if the power goes out. This will provide you with important information. -Get documents and other important things gathered up you would prefer not to lose if an impact occurred. One less stress in a dire situation. -Charge phones today, keep shoes handy, find the flashlights, it never hurts to have a whistle if you're trapped in debris. -If you're watching weather coverage today and hear an area called where you have friends/family - CALL THEM. We all have those people in our lives who couldn't care less about the weather and never pay attention. Your phone call could save their life. Today is a day where the weather could be very dangerous. It's certainly nothing we've never seen before, but it has potential to be rough. Hopefully today trends downward and ends up being lesser than what we’re expecting. -Zach

First day chasing didn’t get to see any tornados but pretty sure we got too close to what was the tornado a few moments prior that hit the north side of Saint Louis. Can’t wait to chase the next 2 weeks and get more videos and photos. @MaxVelocityWX @WxZachary
