People in the comments saying the fact that his neck was hit means it wasn’t a pro. Anyone considered the neck was the actual target? Charlie was outspoken, held true to his conviction and was quite possibly one of the most gifted debaters of our time. Seems symbolic that the shot that killed him was aimed at his voice

All the facts out right now lead me to believe Charlie’s assassin was a professional: - single kill shot from hundreds of yards away - wasn’t trying to max the body count or kill as many conservatives as possible; minimized collateral damage - immediately left after seeing the shot land; obviously extremely important for him to get away - skilled enough to evade local and federal law enforcement after fleeing the scene An untrained amateur just wouldn’t behave like this.

@Grummz I think we have to to ask ourselves a question now, How far are we all willing to go to speak out like Charlie did? I know I could do more and I regret that I haven’t. I will now

I dunno how to answer this. I’ve had bounties on me, and countless death threats, and an entire library of gifs devoted to violence against me. What choice do I have? What choices are they leaving me? Today’s events hit really close to home.

@ChrissieMayr The left claim they’re the ‘good guys’ whilst celebrating the death of a father, husband, intelligent political commentator purely because his views and thoughts differ from theirs

Watch the roof. The cowardly gunman who assassinated Charlie Kirk because they couldn't debate him, can be seen running away like the lowlife they are!

@TateTheTalisman @PolitlcsUK @Keir_Starmer Bang on the money there Tristan. I’d like to think if Charlie were given the choice, he’d have still picked the exact same path that’s he’s walked even with what’s happened. The man has literally died for his views The west is falling

@PolitlcsUK Charlie would have been safe in the UK because @Keir_Starmer would have had him serving 20 years in solitary confinement for his political opinions.

🚨 BREAKING: Keir Starmer reacts to the killing of Charlie Kirk: "My thoughts this evening are with the loved ones of Charlie Kirk. It is heartbreaking that a young family has been robbed of a father and a husband. "We must all be free to debate openly and freely without fear - there can be no justification for political violence"

His wife and child were in the audience. Evil exists. I never believed it until now. Not even Southport. I was able to rationalise that as the abuse of innocence by a pathetic creature. But this? There is the killer; and then there is the thousands of voices online who cheer as the blood pours from a 31 year-old man. The essence of evil reaches through the screen and possesses the pathetic masses and teaches them: cheer. Cheer at that father who has just been shot dead before his wife and child.
Bernie@Artemisfornow

There is great evil in this world. Those celebrating the murder of Charlie Kirk because you disagreed with his political views need to take a good look at yourselves. You say you are the good people, but you aren’t. You are the evil.

@astor_charlie When you actually think about it, it’s pretty scary. We have people being jailed here for tweets and people killed in America for their thoughts and views. The west is falling

The same people who've spent the last two years telling us to treat the murder of 80,000 people in Gaza as an acceptable and justified loss, are about to get real precious about the sanctity of one human life.

I hope I'm wrong. But tonight feels like some sort of invisible line has been crossed that we didn't even know was there. The last time I felt like this was 9/11 when it was clear, without knowing the how and the what, that the world was about to change forever. Like the rules of the game had been permanently altered and there was simply no going to back to the innocent, peaceful past. I didn't feel like this when an attempt was made on President Trump's life. If I had to rationalise why I didn't, I guess it's because several US Presidents have been shot at and even assassinated. Somehow it was within the realms of the possible, no matter how awful. But to murder a young father simply for doing debates and mobilising young people to vote for a party that represents half of America? This is something else. Charlie's death is a tragedy for his wife, his children and his family. I don't pray often. I am praying for them tonight. But I fear his murder will be a tragedy for all of us in ways we will only understand as time unfolds. I hope I'm wrong.
