@MacD4ddy1903 @TheCelticWay3 @DOAG02 A 50/50 he didn't win. Good point about the ref, though. He should have blew straight away. If that isn't the foul he blew for, then Hoillett wasn't ever in possession of the ball when CCV went to clear it, which is also a foul.

Listen, i love a good conspiracy theory about refs cheating as much as the next guy but; Makes contact with the player at speed✅ No contact on the ball ✅ Happens anywhere else on the pitch you're getting a foul. Hoilett makes any contact with the ball and its fair game.

@TheCelticWay3 5 or 6 seconds between the foul and him blowing for it was ridiculous. Was he waiting to see if we got an advantage in our own 6 yard box. Other way around I'd be fizzing.

@JRF_1875 @of_cocker @STVNews @UEFAcom It is when the offside player may have interfered with play. The ref has to make that decision. Seen it plenty of times already. I hate the decision, I think it's ridiculous, and does seem like they were desperate to disallow it, but folk are making false claims about this.

@of_cocker @STVNews @UEFAcom Clear and obvious errors don't come into offside decisions, you're either offside or you're not. The question for me was why the referee was called over to look at it. That's not supposed to be required in offside calls.

@pollokshaws2114 @of_cocker @STVNews @UEFAcom I'm gutted with the decision, and the result, but there are literally tons of examples of refs going to check if the offside player is "interfering with play" once the offside has been confirmed. I don't agree with the decision, but they haven't made up new rules to justify it

Looking ahead to week 6 in the #NFL

@Flynnyboy6 They never show the ref the lines for offside. They tell him it's offside, and ask him to decide if he thinks the player is interfering with play. I know it's a sore one, but it's amazing the amount of people who still don't know how VAR works

Uefa are now trying to say they ruled the goal out for offside, despite first saying it was for a foul. So how come, they never once showed the ref the lines on his screen, we all seen what he saw. Covering their tracks. Cheating, plain and simple. #scotland

@GridIrnCru @GridIRNStu I think it's the ever increasing physicality and size of the players. They are pushing themselves to absolute breaking point. I'm sure the camp and joint practices that they do are designed to get them where they need to be. Billions of pounds spent on sports science too.

A great point @GridIRNStu made on podcast last night. Is not playing starters in pre season, meaning they don't get up to game speed, contributing to the amount of injuries at the start of the NFL season?
