SOURCES: Aaron Rodgers has been in town for a couple days, but the Steelers have not met with him yet and instead have been talking with his agent. Rodgers has stayed away from the team’s South Side facility while the three-day rookie minicamp has been going on.
@joseph_sammeth@PensML@hockeynutbag No he originally started in brazeaus spot, which at the time was 2nd line because both sid and geno were out with injuries
@PensML@hockeynutbag Soda started on the 4th line he took the place of Lizotte when he was out with the broken hand then when Lizotte came back they moved him up when Brazeau came out of the lineup with his shoulder injury
I have seen some pretty awful takes by Pittsburgh Penguins media on my TL these past few days. Here are 2 of my favorite:
1. The Pittsburgh Penguins should not re-sign Noel Acciari and have Avery Hayes play 4th line RW.
So you’re saying to give Avery Hayes a ceiling at 23 years old as well as get rid of our best Face off man Shot blocker and penalty killer.
2. The Pittsburgh Penguins should trade for Owen Zellweger.
You know the ducks like have to agree to a trade right? Zellweger is easily the #2 defensive prospect in the league. Not really a fan of having to trade our entire team for 1 player. That’s just me though!

@MarkMaddenX Who is he blocking in a scenario like this? he can be on PP2 so kindel/china get PP1
xxx-sid-rust
Chinakov-kindel-rakell
Rutger-Novak-malkin
Soderblom/dewar-Lizotte-a.hayes
People are dumb.
People don’t know hockey.
People think the only variables in the Geno equation are production &price.
Not age.
Not culture.
Not who he blocks.
Not trickledown in the room.
Not if team can/can’t win.
Just production &price.
That’s what fantasy league hath wrought.
@PenguinsJesus Ppl are acting like Geno is TJ Watt or Cam Hayward… he is one of the greatest athletes in Pittsburgh history. He is a 3x Stanley cup champ and former MVP.. and he was still a point/ game player.
It’s asinine to not bring him back. Not even some sentimental bs.
A lot of people are saying you have to bring Geno back, just keep him at wing and move him from PP1.
22 of his 61 points were on the powerplay. He will be a year older.
This is way more nuanced than you think it is. You can’t bring him back and knee cap his productivity.
@elibroftw@commonsenseplay If you talked to women in the real world you would have known it was a dying brand and out of style last year. Unfortunately most nerds, like Bury, don’t talk to women.
I shorted tf out of it last year. Riding it to the single digits
Michael Burry loaded up on Lululemon $LULU in 2025… and it’s been a brutal ride since.
Started buying around the $300+ range
Doubled down into weakness
Stock now: $128.98
That’s a 55–60% drawdown from his initial entry!
Timeline:
Q2 2025 (initial buy) Bought 50,000 shares
Estimated price range: $290–$320
Position value: roughly $15M
Q3 2025 (added / doubled down)Increased to 100,000 shares total
Likely added in the $260–$300 range
Position value: $17–18M at the time
Q4 2025 – Latest filing Held steady (100K shares)
No major trim reported
Classic Burry:
Early
Aggressive
Deep in the red lol
The question is Lulu dead money… or another one of those trades where he looks crazy before he looks right?
@UltimateTrad8r@commonsenseplay You clearly don’t talk to any women because the brand is dead and no one shops there anymore. It’s basically crocs at this point
Is there some kind of secret condition to winning back-to-back Stanley Cups that doesn't allow you to win a playoff series afterwards?
If so I still think PIT, TBL, FLA take that deal.
Rumor: Kyle Dubas had his mind made up before the season started that this would be Evgeni Malkin's final year. And he doesn't want to deviate from that long-range plan.
I buy this. I however would bring Geno back. One more year.
Black guys gets LIL BRO’d by an Older White man & everyone laughs.
The black guy didn’t like being embarrassed in front of everyone so he “Dirty Macks” the white guy to make him look bad to the woman he was talking to.
Black guy: “This white man said he ONLY wanna F*CK you” 😳
The dude with the Meta Glasses CALLS OUT the black guy for “Dirty Macking” the older guy. So then he tries to fight him thinking that he was going to back down.
The Black guy was sadly mistaken & seemed scared to fight him 💥💥😳
@marecageo@kelsey_surmacz4 It had nothing to do with why they lost the series. With Silovs in G1+G2, they still lose. They played like fucking shit because they took the week+ off before playoffs while flyers were battling on all cylinders in that time.
@kelsey_surmacz4 Many Pen's media questioned the decision to play Silovs in game 4... not playing him sooner cost them the series. As a Silovs believer when he was in Vancouver, he gave Pittsburgh the best chance to advance to the next round and kept it from being a sweep. Good for Artūrs 👏
Arturs Silovs stopped 77 of 82 shots in this series for a .939 save percentage.
He deserves all the praise, and he lived up to his billing as a big-game goaltender. He and Murashov should 100 percent be the tandem next season.
They've got themselves a true playoff goaltender.
@jonomack@kelsey_surmacz4 He’s gone to the finals for 2 years.. he played great in the first 3 games. Pens roster than “rested” for 4 final reg szn games for god knows what reason, came in cold AF against a hot flyers team and played like shit.
@kelsey_surmacz4 Why did they ever start skinner. Proven track record of crapping the bed in playoffs. Artie was always the guy who should’ve gotten the chance.
@kelsey_surmacz4 And he did play pretty good against the best players/ rosters in the world at the Olympics when given the chance despite backing a shit Latvia team.
And this is a proven track record now with Silovs, from his international resume to his MVP-winning AHL Calder Cup Run to his outstanding performances in two NHL playoffs.
He's just got it. He has that clutch gene. Not everyone does.
@1monkeyThinks@FAN590@FriedgeHNIC@Mattymar89@FutaMichael He won’t always be overshadowed by them. He was the MVP of the 1st cup run. Is Jagr overshadowed by lemeiux? Is Sid overshadowed by Jagr?
No & no. They are all amongst the best players of all time and all of their #s will be hanging in the rafters of the pens arena for eternity
@FAN590@FriedgeHNIC@Mattymar89@FutaMichael Malkin had an excellent season for an 39 y.o. NHL forward. He will always be somewhat overshadowed by Lemieux, Jagr, Crosby, and Francis, but he has been to the Pens what Jacques Lemaire was to the 4x Cup-winning Canadiens of the 1970s.
"The last time Pittsburgh was in a position to let [Evgeni Malkin] walk, in the moment of truth, they couldn't do it."
@FriedgeHNIC joins @mattymar89 and @futamichael to discuss the Penguins’ offseason priorities after their playoff exit.

@Alwaysinpain305@tomwilsondagoat I know that when the pens won there were fewer teams in the league and therefore it was easier.
They haven't gotten it done in the 31 team or 32 team era.
@tomwilsondagoat They were this season, but the Flyers just replaced this moment.
Fuck you pieces of shit for embarrassingly letting the flyers pass you & being soo ass you can’t get 98 pts & missing the playoffs instead of giving the pens an easy 1st round matchup to warm up. Fuck u
Buddy posted this right before @Kris58Letang scored 2 game winning goals in a row (only pens player with a GWG this playoff) and the was far and away the pens best dman in game 6 that went scoreless through 3.9 periods
Absolute retard shit 😂😂😂
