Another thing: historically about 7% of the submissions come from women. I would like to double that this year. If you’re a woman who works in or near @apachekafka and streaming things, would you consider submitting a talk and retweeting this? I would be pretty darn grateful.

@Cojorado @girldevelopit . @girldevelopit never cared about their former chapter leaders before #gdistrike and it doesn't surprise me that they rather go low and sneaky instead of engaging the community they claim to be helping.
