Conservatism is protecting the ruling class by limiting government. Authoritarianism is protecting the ruling class through big-gov overreach. DeSantis is proof that conservatism is dead.

When will humanity learn? When leaders villainize minority groups, it’s a tool to control you. They convince us to be afraid, and offer themselves as the solution. It gets them the power they crave at the expense of vulnerable communities.

@ThisAmerLife While this story speaks to an important issue, I was really saddened by the tactic of taking a Mexican refugee to the camp simply to get tape of her sadness and anger. This seems as inhumane as the refugee crisis itself. Was this a consideration in the reporting process?
