That’s actually facts. Nolan is over a thousand years old. He’s known his people, their mission, and their purpose far longer than he’s had a relationship with Debbie, the Guardians, let alone his own children. It still bothers me how people are so quick to view Nolan as the devil and judge him by their moral standards and experiences without realizing that maybe living as a propagandized thousand+ year old weapon of mass destruction is the most problematic thing.

I completely disagree with this. Sure Nolan fucked up and broke Debbie’s heart, but the man is literally working towards genociding the rest of his own people. If no one can at least see that as meaningful change—the fact Nolan’s willing to not just betray, but destroy his own people for the sake of others—than this would be unrealistic.
