On Sunday, Seattle area priests of the area's many Ethiopian Orthodox Churches are joined by congregants to protest the Ethiopian government, accusing it of constant attacks and trying to split the church by not recognizing only Patriarch Abuna Mathias as the church's leader.

Northlake Tavern & Pizza House, a popular hangout in the U District, will close on Jan. 31 after nearly 70 years of business. The pizzas are stacked high with ingredients, and the space is full of David Horsey cartoons and college sports memorabilia.
