Very common themes across all 4 nations. GPs can and will provide excellent service up to their limit, but there is a shared responsibility to fund and staff any service appropriately. It is far too important to all our patients to continue what is going on at the moment

On to GP funding and remuneration at #SLMC24. Glasgow GP Michael Renwick says GPs have been 'on a hamster wheel' for years. Says it's a full scale crisis and an existential threat. Significantly increased investment is necessary if general practice is to survive. @TheDrMagazine

The government is absolutely right to heed our calls to repeal this harmful act. When you stop nursing staff from speaking out, you put patients at risk. Ministers must soon go the whole way and remove all remaining anti-union legislation.
