Terwijl commentatoren hem dagelijks onderschatten of belachelijk maken, blijft hij telkens weer het middelpunt van het debat. Zijn stijl is direct, hard en zonder diplomatiek sausje ,en juist dát spreekt veel mensen aan die genoeg hebben van ingestudeerde politieke antwoorden en eindeloze draaierij.
